“ We visited the North Sea Observatory on a Tuesday afternoon, roughly an hour before closing. There are plenty of signs inside the building which provide information about the views, local area and local wildlife. Apart from the views and the nearby beach, the main attraction here is the cafe. The cafe was fairly busy but there were still plenty of seats available, with all tables offering breathtaking views through the panoramic windows. There were also a few outdoor tables but, given the cold November weather, nobody was sat there. The cafe operates on a table number basis, with orders placed at the bar and your order brought to your table when it's ready. We were very happy with the service provided by the staff here and were very pleased with the price and quality of our hot drinks (with the hot chocolate strongly recommended). Outside, the Observatory offers panoramic views along the coast and provides easy access to the beach and local stretch of the coast path. ”
